It doesn’t get very much airtime, but there you go. Dead people are walking the Earth, but Newspapers still survive. I’m sure there’s a joke in there’s somewhere, but I can’t think of it.

In the latest episode of HBO’s The Gilded Age (S1 E6: Heads Have Rolled for Less), we welcome back two long gone Newspapers, The Daily Graphic and the New-York Tribune.
Three of the main characters are reading these long with the still around The New York Times. Yes, there were days when folks subscribed to ALL of the town’s leading newspapers!
I do have a slight issue with this image from the revived Daily Graphic:
I’m not sure the paper would have run three photographs as this was about the time halftones were just being introduced. Maybe on the front page, but on inside pages? I’m not so sure.
