I guess it’s OK to speak ill of the dead
The only viral obit in quite some time. From the Redwood Falls Gazette, a 3,300-circulation twice-weekly Minnesota newspaper.
The obituary was printed Monday and by Tuesday it had gone viral. News organizations including USA Today, the Washington Post and Fox News picked up on it, as did international newspapers and websites.
The crush on the Redwood Falls Gazette was large enough that the newspaper removed The Obit from its website by Tuesday afternoon.
