A look at the future of “newspapers”?


Issue 33 of McSweeney’s Quarterly is (was) out in a very limited 20,000 edition that sold out in two hours. If you were in San Francisco where McSweeney’s is based and scored a copy of the San Francisco Panorama, well, bully for you.

People don’t “read” newspapers anymore, so the 16-page edition was crammed with big, big, big graphics. Looks nice. Will visuals get readers back to newspapers? It remains to be seen.
